Nope. Its getting to the end of its days. I'm guessing by your description you tend to play your music loudly like I do. Well when you do that it causes vibration. Vibration+electronics=Short life span.

I have a jvc-x11 cd changer is it compatible with my sony MEX-BT39UW

No, it won't work. JVC changers work with JVC head units, Sony head units work with Sony changers. Even if the plugs are the same, it won't work.

Jvc ch-x350 12 disc cd changer. Loads cd but will not play it. reads: no disc and moves to the next cd and repeats. ??

If you are inserting non original cds, cds you make from your pc or cd copies sometimes they dont read, another reason is to make sure that you are inserting the disk with the correct side up, it will show you in the cd changer magazine slots. If none of this solves your problem then you have a defective cd mechanism and you need to replace or repair the changer. Very common problem with JVC Cd Changers, I used to replace them all the time and they tend to skip alot as well, get yourself a Pioneer if money is ok if not then follow my steps.

Good luck and dont forget to rate and vote for me if I helped you.

Thanks.

No longer have the cd changer hooked up to a stereo, need to know how to get the cds out w/out a power cable

There is a "compulsory eject hole" on the left side of the changer. Inserting a screwdriver straight into this hole should eject the magazine unless a disc was partially deployed when power was removed. The last page of the manual shows a picture that details which hole to use.

The manual can be found at:

I just bought a car and when i popped open the trunk there was a 12 disk jvc cd changer, its all hooked up i just don't know if it works because there is no remote and the changer won't open.

Look for a cable from the disc changer that heads towards the front of the car. Generally if you pull one of the kick rails beside the seats you will find the wire. It will be grayish black and almost the size of a USB cable 10 to 12 gauge. Follow it under the dash, if your lucky you will find a silver box which is the fm converter then a small LCD display about 1 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" long. That's the Receiver/Display. Then you need the remote, if you don't have one, go to any car audio shop & let them know what you've got and they can get you what you need and make sure the unit is ok. Hope this helps
