you may need to format the card with a lower file type.
It might be ntfs and the camera might use fat32 file type
formatting is like setting up a library
you put in the isles and then you number the isles in order so you know where to put the books in correct order so you can retrieve the book later.
The same basic principle is used for data storage in that you setup the file storage environment on the card so you can store and retrieve data when you need to.
I have a couple of android tablets. To transfer files to the microSD card, I plug the USB cable into my laptop where the files are and make sure it is *connected as a media device* in Settings or the drop-down menu in the Kit Kat operating system. Then I use Windows File Manager to choose and copy files to the SD card. Windows File Manager displays the android device and shows the internal storage and the microSD card storage. Be sure to open the SD card storage by clicking on it and then create a folder called Downloads if there isn't one already there by that name and then copy your .pdf files into that folder. If you wish to create a sub-filed in the Downloads folder called PDF to keep things better organized you can do that as well.
The Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86) installs
runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries required to run applications
developed with Visual C++ on a computer that does not have Visual C++
2005 installed.
This package installs runtime components of C
Runtime (CRT), Standard C++, ATL, MFC, OpenMP and MSDIA libraries. For
libraries that support side-by-side deployment model (CRT, SCL, ATL,
MFC, OpenMP) they are installed into the native assembly cache, also
called WinSxS folder, on versions of Windows operating system that
support side-by-side assemblies.
System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems:Windows 2000 Service Pack 3;Windows 98;Windows 98 Second Edition;Windows ME;Windows Server 2003;Windows XP Service Pack 2
Why this happens:
If for any reason your phone cannot find the SD card on boot it will create a folder on your Phone's Memory called 'Storage Card' to put the Temp Files, Pictures, Music, etc into. Now as soon as the SD card becomes available, since there is already a folder called 'Storage Card', it is forced to name the "Real" SD Card 'Storage Card 2'.
Solution: Delete the "Storage Card" folder and soft reset. If the phone finds the "Real" SD Card, it will be named 'Storage Card' again. If for some reason it is not found, you might have a corrupt SD Card that needs to be reformatted. This would of course loose all the information on the card, so hopefully this is not the case.
Warning: If you have pictures or other files in the 'Storage Card' directory, you will want to move them to 'Storage Card 2' before deleting 'Storage Card'. Use the 'File Explorer' found in your 'Programs' to do this.
Good luck!
what i read is take out the Batterie and that should reset it, i'll try it in the morning. dam thing it twice this happen. had this gps since nov last year.
This problem can occur when all root entries have been used on the storage device. The type of FAT, mix of long and short file names determine the total number of files that can be stored in the root.
Solution:
Format the storage cards to FAT 32 before use. FAT 32 does not have any limitations to the number of files stored in the root directory.
what6 is that?
