Hi. Is it your MacBook or your router that won't connect? the first point of contasct is the router, it connects to the net and provides the links to whatever is attached to it. The macbook talks to the router and the router delivers.
Generally caused by a timeout of the email application. In outlook, the issue is resolved by extending the application timeout (Outlook's default is 60 seconds and I extend it to 30)
well one thing if your router uses the same IP address as your hughes net then they will interfere with each other. hook your router to your pc and leave the hughes modem out of the equation then go to command prompt on your pc and type in ipconfig that will tell you what ip address your router is using that way you can get into the settings of the router and change whatever you need to change.....I would just set it back to default and make sure the ip address is not 192.168.0.1 because that is the dynamic ip for hughes
I have had this problem for months, works when it wants to. Customer support pretty much told me if I can access their webmail system then everything is working correctly. I have tried to explain that they aren't the same settings but apparently they dont understand that.
I have tried setting up email again and sometimes that works. Though today all I get is my password isn't correct even though nothing has changed since it worked yesterday
