Flash drive is wiped clean

I deleted all files from the flash drive to do a back up that I didn't have room for. Now the PC doesn't even recognize there is a flash drive in the modem. Is there something I can do to restore its usefulness?

you might have to reformat the flash drive, or if that doesnt work plug it in the computer and go to device manager and see if its damaged and if you can repair through that
