Question about Lexmark P315 InkJet Photo Printer
Hi, I would greatly appreciate any help with this.
I have the stated photo printer and it was fine until I changed the ink cartridge. I've changed it before, and it's been fine. But this time, it reads "cartridge error". So i thought it was a faulty cartridge, tried again with a new one, and at times, it says "cartridge error" other times, it says "cartridge not detected".
I'm starting to think it's the printer itself, but it recognises the old, empty cartridge if I put it back in.
I don't know what to do, short of taking it apart or taking it somewhere to be looked at.
Thank you in advance xx
Hi, I know this might sound really bad but have you made sure that you have taken ALL the little bits of plastic and covers that are sometimes on the new cartidges?
Also are you using the exact same cartridge as before?
Another thing you could do to bypass the problem is to have your one refilled. That will at least fix the problem for the immediate.
Does your printer have some software where you can run a clean print head and do an align and other stuff. If so you could try those too.
Lets us know.
