Dgb-900bc cleaned out completely still doesn't brew

You cleaned the chamber, but does it actually still turn? if the motor is broken of the grinder, it cant give you any coffee. If the unit is still spinning, set the grinding size to maximum. This will most likely let beans pass through easier. If both work, please show a picture of where the beans get caught.

How do I clean my burr mill (Models BM1 and BM3)?

Always unplug your burr mill after use and before cleaning.
  1. Turn the whole bean chamber to the right until it can be lifted off the base. This will allow you to clean the grinding wheel. NOTE: Never use water or liquid for cleaning the lower grinding section of this appliance.
  2. Clean interior recesses with a soft brush (not provided).
  3. Wash the whole bean chamber and lid and the ground coffee chamber and lid in mild detergent and water. These items are only dishwasher safe on the top rack of your dishwasher. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse mill in water or any other liquid or place in dishwasher. Use only non-abrasive cleaners to remove stains.
  4. After completely drying, replace whole bean chamber. Important: when replacing whole bean chamber, screw on completely before setting grinding rate. Turn chamber clockwise (as viewed from top), until it will not turn. Fill with whole coffee beans for grinding and replace lid.
  5. Replace ground coffee chamber and lid, making sure it snaps securely into place.

My cuisinart cbm-18 does not grind at below a 10 setting?

Hello, and thanks for using FixYa.

I'm guessing the problem is that the grinders blades, or the parts that do the grinding have become somewhat dull, (opposite from Sharp.) and no longer can get to the beans like it used to.

Cleaning the machine properly might improve its performance.

CLEANING/MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be sure plug has been removed from outlet.

2. Beans can be removed from the hopper by lifting off the lid and pouring excess beans out. Hold down the Manual button to cleanout any remaining beans.

3. The bean hopper, bean hopper lid, grind chamber, and grind chamber lid can be washed by hand with hot, soapy water or placed in the top shelf of a dishwasher. Dry thoroughly.

a. Remove the bean hopper by rotating counter-clockwise bringing the selector past grind setting 18, align the arrows and lift up. Make sure the hopper is empty.

b. Remove grind chamber by pulling toward you.

4. Remove the burr grinder, once the bean hopper has been removed, by grasping the metal handle and lifting up. Use the brush to remove grinds or wash by hand. Replace the burr grinder onto the unit and rotate until the piece is fully inserted. Push handle down and replace hopper.

NOTE: The hopper will not attach to the unit if the grinder has not been fully inserted.

5. Wipe body of grinder with a damp cloth.

6. Any other servicing or maintenance should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Hello. I have a saeco vienna superautomatic

This happens due to condensation caused by steam developed at the end of the grinding cycle. Make sure that the grinding chamber is completely cleaned and dried before using the grinder.

Coffee grinder clogging

Remove the grind chamber.
There is a black plastic pice sticking up in the area underneath where the grind chamber would sit. Lift it up, and you will see it is sort of like a hatch. It is probably clogged with coffee grinds.
Go ahead and clear out this chute, and see if it resolves the problem.
