Get a 600 watt they are better and will handle all that you need the price from a 450 W to 600W is not much I run 7 dvd's a ATI Video capture card with a 64 bit AMD processors 1 80 gig Hd 2 Sata Drives 120 gig and sound blaster audio card and more and the 600 watt does fine The Corsair is ok Where to you think your going to get it at on line? or at a store? You can buy them at
tiger direct.com or Fry's.com The 600 watt ATI power supply will have 6 standard HD connecotors and I use three Y's for more and never had any problem with mine.

I am using D102GGC2 Desktop board with Intel Pentium D Processor 2.8GHz and using 512MB DDR2 PC-533 RAM. Nw I want to upgrade to 2GB and decided to purchase 2 * 1GB DDR2 PC-667 RAM. Will it be compati

Hello here is the homepage:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/SearchResult.aspx?lang=eng&ProductFamily=Desktop+Boards&ProductLine=Third-Party+Chipset+Boards&ProductProduct=Intel%C2%AE+Desktop+Board+D102GGC2

You can only add 1gb per slot Because the mb does not supports a bigger module.
This ram type does come as 1 gb module.
The 667 mhz and 800 mhz is the Mhz speed for the ram module.
Your mainboard supports this but it will only run the current front side bus speed as the mainboard supports.
This means that the new ram will only run 533/400 mhz as the mb supports.

Hope this was helpfull

What type of dual core processor can I use for my dc7600?

The motherboard for the dc7600 has an Intel LGA775 processor socket. However, not all LGA775 processors are compatible with the motherboard. For the small form factor, the following CPUs are supported: Intel Celeron D Processors:
Intel Celeron D 331 Processor (2.66-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 336 Processor (2.80-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Celeron D 346 Processor (3.06-GHz, 256K L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB)
Intel Pentium 4 Processors with HT Technology:
Intel Pentium 4 521 Processor (2.8-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 524 Processor (3.06-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB) , Intel Pentium 4 541 Processor (3.2-GHz, 1-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 620 Processor (2.8-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 630 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 631 Processor (3.0-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 640 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 641 Processor (3.2-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 650 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 651 Processor (3.4-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium 4 661 Processor (3.6-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB) or
Intel Pentium D Dual Core Processors:
Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core Processor (2.66-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 533-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 820 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x1MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 915 Dual Core Processor (2.8-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 925 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 930 Dual Core Processor (3.0-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 940 Dual Core Processor (3.2-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 945 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800-MHz FSB), Intel Pentium D 950 Dual Core Processor (3.4-GHz, 2x2MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Unfortunately, these are old processors and I don't see any available new. Newegg.com lists a couple available as refurbished. You may be better off getting a new computer with either a Intel I3 or current AMD processor.

I wish that I had better news for you.

My PC config is 2GB RAM Intel core2duo processor Intel DG31PR motherboard i want to buy graphics card most compatible in affordable range near about 4 thousand rupees please suggest me which...

It depends on the motherboard, which graphics card it supports or which not. Note down you motherboard's model no. and brand, visit a computer shop. You'll find very good graphics card for Rs.4000/-. For 1gb graphics card with 1 vga, 1 dvi and 1 hdmi, it'll cost around Rs. 2500 to Rs. 2800.
Let me know if you need further help.
Good Luck.

I have intel dg41rq motherboard with 2 gb kingston 667 mhz in one slot. can i put another 2 gb ram in other slot. if yes then should it have the same specification?

Intel DG41RQ Motherboard has two DDR2 (DIMM) sockets.
It Support DDR2 800 or DDR2 667 MHz DIMMs. Since you already have a 667 MHz RAM, it is recommended that you add another RAM of the same specification (DIMM DDR2 667 MHz)
However, if you add 800 MHz DIMM with 667 MHz, both would perform at 667 MHz. RAMs of different bus speed and latency usually work together but the performance is compromised.
It is always better to have RAM in pairs of same specification.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

I bought new 2gb ddr2 with 800 mhz and its not working on my motherboard d102ggc2 can u plz help me with the solution

i guess you did not check the compatibility of the RAMs to your MB limitations....
the only solution is to return the RAMs and get the RAMs that is supported by your MB.....

the MB (D102GGC2) can hold only a max of 533 mhz and max of 1GB each in each slot of RAM....
so if you are trying to install one 2GB card of 800 mhz IT WIILL NOT WORK....
get TWO RAM cards of 1GB each (total 2GB) of RAM.... each of 400 mhz....

hope this helps...

Do i have to face any heating problems with the mentioned config?

If you are NOT going to overclock the CPU and memory, it should work easy.

New C2D processors are quite cool.

Also you shoult pay attention to a good Power supply, and maybe enough big case with place for front and rear extra fans,
If you face heating problems later, you may put those two fans.

Regards.

I have 810 bu mother board

your board is compatible with pentium 3 processors through the "coppermine" revision, the pentium 3 "tulatin is not supported" here is a list from wikipedia of the "coppermine" processors supported by your board.:

Coppermine
  • 100 MHz FSB: 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 1000, 1100 MHz (E-Models)
  • 133 MHz FSB: 533, 600, 667, 733, 800, 866, 933, 1000, 1133 MHz (EB-Models)

Coppermine-T (the only coppermines with an attached heatsink)
  • 133 MHz FSB: 800, 866, 933, 1000, 1133 MHz

The Tulatin core is NOT compatible with intel 810 boards, and they can be easily confused with the coppermine-t's because they also have attached heatsinks.
