SOURCE: forget BIOS Password (Laptop - IBM Thinkpad Lenovo R60)

For that you need to reset factory defaults settings for bios.
For reset bios u have to open back side of your laptop then u find motherbord circuit there.
pull cmos cell on motherbord for 15 minute then it reset to defaults.
Also u can reset with jumper settigns read carefully on mother bord there is 1 jumper near cmos cell u read there " bios reset or clear"
It is on 1-2 position right now set it in 2-3 position then power up then all bios settings are reset.
then again set it in 1-2 its original position.

Check out this site: http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/36/68/ search for this section "Password cracking software" , you will find four software which may help you out (please note that you have to be registered user in order to download the software.

your computer may give a checksum after entering the wrong code 3 times write that down then goto this site (from a different computer :) ) and enter it in the space provided. You will be given a bios password that should work. It works more often than not! How to remove IBM t43 start up password

If you know the password, enter the BIOs. At start up you should see that option briefly displayed. It will prompt you for the password. Once its entered, you can do what ever you'd like. There are "three different password groups" on your machine. POP, HDP, and SVP (Power on, Hrd drive, Supervisor). If you don't know "either the HDP or especially the POP", there is nothing you can do except buy an new MB or HD. There is not short cuts. Hopefully you have the passwords and you'll be OK.
