Try start in safe mode. Get onto internet and install malwarebytes. Update malwarebytes and run a scan. Make sure you turn off your antivirus when running the scan. If you have avast anti virus, malwarebytes will treat all files from avast as malware so make sure you uncheck those files before you delete the resulted corrupted files.

Wd my passport retrieve data

Step 1:
You might not have the appropriate software installed on your computer to show / read the files
IE: adobe flash , directx , win zip , codec , word ...... Determine if access is denied by a sharing violation because the folder and its files are in use by someone else or the computer itself. Wait several minutes, and then attempt to access the folder again. Go to the location where the file or its folder are stored on your computer. Lock files are hidden files in Microsoft Windows. Select "Show hidden files." The lock files for Windows applications have a ~ symbol in front of the file name. For example, for test.txt, the lock file is named ~test.txt. In UNIX, the lock file may be identified by an extension of .lock or .swp within in the file name. Delete the lock file. The locked file or folder unlocks. Reboot your computer, and bring it up in Safe Mode. This prevents the startup of many of the system services and programs that could be locking the files or folders. Attempt to access the folder location and its contents. If the folder is available, save the folder or its contents in a directory to which you have access. Record the active processes running on the computer and the programs available in Safe Mode. Then, log into the computer after a normal boot up. Review the applications running in the background in normal setup. One of these applications may be preventing access to the file folder and its contents. If there are applications that run in normal mode that do not run in Safe Mode, turn off those applications. Then, try to access the file folder again. b> Are the Security Permissions for the Folder or Its Contents Preventing Access? b> Check the file folder permissions by right-clicking on the folder and selecting "Properties." In the "Properties" dialog box, select the "Security" tab. The "Name" list box includes the user and group permissions. If there is no "read," "read and execute," or "write" permissions in your user profile, you do not have permission to view the file folder or its contents. These security permissions are typically set by system administrators. System administrators may be trying to prevent end users from altering system files that are critical to the computer running smoothly. Contact your system administrator, and request local administrative rights to the computer. This allows you to gain access to the files and folders that are restricted to administrators. Edit the system policies using administrative tools via the gpedit.msc program. Users can add, read and modify permissions for folders and other objects via this program. Full control is the best system policy, because it includes read, write, execute and modify rights. However, access to the gpedit.msc program may be restricted, as well. Go to the command line (press on the "Windows" and the "R" keys on your keyboard at the same time), and enter the CACLS command for the folder name. Use the command format: C:\> cacls <foldername> /E /G <username>:F CALCS stands for Change the Access Control ListS. This command allows you to add your user name to the security settings to permit access to the protected system folder when the gpedit.msc program is not available.

My seagate hard attacked by viruses that make the file shortcut. unfortunately all my files are hidden and I ca't get them back.

Are you able to scan the drive with an antivirus program? If you are able to actually go into the drive then on your toolbar go to Tools>Folder Options, then go to the View tab. Under the Hidden Files and Folders heading make sure it is set to Show hidden files and folders. If this is already set and you still can't see your files then it is a direct attack by the virus. Do you have an anti virus program, if so set it to do a deep scan of your whole computer including the seriously infected drive? If not there are quite a few good free anti virus programs on the web for download. My computer infected by virus

it is a bad virus that won't let you do anything on the computer, follow the instructions on this link http://www.fixya.com/support/r7263144-clean_computer_from_viruses. If you can install programs on your computer, follow only steps 7 and 8 from that link.

Keeps freezing. Multiple times in minutes

You may have a virus or malware.
It's also possible you have a driver conflict.
For the virus situation this will help. You will need a clean pc to download the files, then boot your problem pc in safe mode to tranfer teh files. Power on, tap F8 key till you get windows boot options. Choose safe mode.
My favorite solution for one time use is this.. Use a clean PC to download if possible.
This tool is designed to run under Windows NT/2000/XP/2003/VISTA/7 32-bit.

For Virus and Malware use Trend Micro Standalone AV and malware remover. Read about it here.. http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/tsc/readme.txt

Download the Sysclean module.

http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/tsc/sysclean.zip

Unzip all contents into a folder.

Download and unzip into same folder, the latest versions of the AV pattern files:
" lpt$vpn.XXX " in ZIP format as lptXXX.ZIP from the following location: http://www.trendmicro.com/download/viruspattern.asp

Download and unzip the latest Spyware pattern file.. http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/pattern/spyware/ssaptn/ssaptn145.zip

into the same folder with other files..

Copy folder and all contents onto infected PC in Safe Mode. and run the Sysclean.com module.. (double click it)

Choose to remove threats, all drives.. Let it run till complete.

Cross fingers.. all will be clear.

If this does not resolve the problem, re-post back her for more help.

You may have a virus or just a corrupted driver.. (More likely a virus)
Prepare an antivirus package first ... See below..
Start up in safe mode.. Tap several times, F8 key as soon as you see anything on screen..to bring up boot options.. Choose safe mode.

Let it be a lesson how not to run computer without protection, your computer is infected with rahul malware/virus...

Please follow this advice:

2. boot computer in safe mode (tapping f8 during boot up will get you there) as an administrator with network connection
3. go to this site and run they free online scanner:

http://www.eset.com/online-scanner

4. still in safe mode download and install ccleaner
5. run ccleaner, as last run registry ccleaner
6. reboot computer as "normal"
7. do yourself a favour and buy nod32 antivirus, install it and allow it to protect you...
8. download from Microsoft they free Malicious Software Removal Tool and run it as well

If above did not remove all traces of rahul, please follow that advice for manual removal:

3. select "folder options"
4 select "view"
5. select "hidden files and folders"
6. tick "show hidden files and folders"
7. remove tick from "hide extensions of known file types"
8. remove tick from "hide protected operating system files"
9. search for any file with "*rahul*.*" in title (that includes file mentioned by you in the problem question)
10. delete these files, if files "refuse" deletion, click on they properties, one by one, unselect tick from "read only", click "apply" and then delete
11. remove file "autorun.inf"
12. re-boot with full shut down in safe mode (step 1 and 2 of first part) and run ccleaner again including as last registry ccleaner
