Hi, Unfortunately you have been infected with a Virus perhaps via Bluetooth perhaps COMMWARRIOR. I would suggest to use this free tool removal shall it be the case. http://symbian-freeware.web.id/symbian/security/netqin-commwarriorc-removal-tool Shall it be another virus you can see what is the application running in background and look with google for a removal tool. Regards, Paolo
The best way is to format by using this..Press and hold 3 keys i.e. Green, dial key, *, Star key, no. 3 , key on
keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the phone.Examine
the battery backup of your phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 button
i.e * + 3 + green just press and hold keys until you see a formatting
word screen shown........But in N series don't release the three button
until the time set shown . original system and factory setting has also
done automatically. There is no guarantee coz it might not work with
some phone...Or flash it.
My friends i suggest you to format your memorary card here are the steps:
Make sure that you format the memory card first so that there is no trace of virus in the phone and remove any password from the memory card.
1. First of all make sure that your phone's battery is full and then switch off you mobile phone. 2. You'll need to hold three buttons together which are : The green button, left selection key and the no. 3 key 3. Keep on holding these three button and then press the power button to switch it on. 4. After this you'll get a screen which will say FORMATTING.... after that you can leave the keys.
Caution : This will completely format your phone memory and will reload the whole phone due to which you'll loose all your contacts or infact anything stored in the phone memory.
I hope this helps you....this step can be taken for any Nokia phone which has Symbian OS Series 60 Version 7 and above...you can say most of the phones which came after Nokia 6600

Transfer NetQin Commwarrior.C Removal Tool & NetQin Antivirus to your phone. Install NetQin Commwarrior.C Removal Tool first because it will disable Commwarrior in your phone. Then intall NetQin Antivirus after disabling Commwarrior. You need to scan your phone with NetQin Antivirus and delete any infected files that it finds. After that, restart your phone and rescan your phone again just to be safe.
One sign that your phone is disinfected, is that the Operator Logo will revert back to normal.
