My one set of Scala Rider teamset pro will not let the second set talk to it but the microphone works- any solution?

Do the 2 units pair up when you switch on ? If they do try swapping the units to see if the problem changes from one helmet to the other.
If it does then the problem is with one of the units, if it stays with one helmet then it may be a wiring problem to the speakers. If they dont pairup when you switch on try re-setting the pairing and start again. With the unit turned on, press and hold the CTRL button for 6 seconds till the light flashes red then blue rapidly then press the volume up button for 3 secs, the red/blue should flash 5 times to confirm reset done. Then re pair the units for intercom, switch both units on, when they are flashing slow blue on one unit press the CTRL and Intercom Buttons simultaneously for 6 secs so the red light flashes rapidly, repeat for the 2nd unit, they should both go to a solid red light within a few seconds then slow flash blue to show they have paired for intercom use. If this does not cure the problem you will probably have to send the units for repair.
Hope this helps

IPhone 4 s not recognizing the 232

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 232 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, then it is not in pairing mode. Below is a link for the pairing instructions for the 230 headset (which is the same as the 232):

I cant pair my phone N95 8 GB to plantronics explorer 230 using 0000

It's important to follow these pairing instructions carefully if you're having problems connecting the two devices. If you have a flashing blue light on your headset, hold the button in on the headset until you see red, release it so it will turn off. Then hold in that same button until you see the light on the headset flashing red/blue, red/blue. Once the headset is flashing red/blue your phone should find the headset. If your phone asks you for a passkey, that is 0000 (4 zeroes). Hopefully this should help you.

Good luck from Headsets Direct - 800-914-7996.

SUDDENLY THS MORNING THE BLUE LIGHT ON AND THE RED LIGHT OFF ARE FLASHING ALTERNATELY IE WHEN AERIAL LOCATED TO ON POSITION THE ON LIGHT BLUE FLASHES ALTERNATE RED AND BLUE AND BLUE TOOTH NOT WORKING

I think your car kit has lost its pairing data. Blue and red lights flashing alternately means it is in pairing mode. On your phone (or the device it was paired with), delete the partnership with your car kit, and make it search for new devices again. After a little while, your car kit should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey, or passcode) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
By the way, detailed instructions on how to pair it with your phone (illustrated with pictures) can be found on its user guide; In case yours happens to be missing, you'll still be able to find it here.

Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.

The solution for paring the explorer 240 is found in the bottom of the product page for the embedded link on the User Guide Link. I have also provided the instructions below. I hope this helps

How to Pair Your Phone With Your Headset for the First Time

1 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone.
For most phones, select Settings/Tools > Connections >
Bluetooth > On. See your phone’s user guide for more information.
2 Turn the headset on.
Turn on your headset by sliding the Power Switch toward the microphone. Wait until the indicator light flashes red then blue.
If you don’t see the red then blue flashes, turn the headset off, then turn it on again. Press and hold the Call Control button until you see the red then blue flashes that indicate pairing mode status.
3 Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ to locate the headset.
This usually involves going to ‘setup’, ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add a device’.
4 Once available headsets are listed, select your headset (for example 2XXPlantronics or 3XXPlantronics). If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000.
When pairing is successful, the indicator on your headset flashes blue. Your phone will also confirm when pairing is complete.

Headset does not flash red/blue so I can pair it with my phone

To get it into pairing mode (flashing red and blue) turn the headset off.  Hold the main button down until the light goes red and then off.  Then push and hold that same button and keep holding it even after the blue light comes on.  It will now go into pairing mode, flashing red and blue.  Set your cell phone to find it and it should work.

Free Pulse

The following procedure will re-establish the communication link between the Headphones and the Wireless adapter, this is called "pairing". Before you start please make sure both the headphones and the wireless adapter are fully charged and turned off.
Note: The headphones and the wireless adapter come pre-paired from the factory.
1. Press and hold the power button on the headphones. See Figure 1.
headphone.jpg
Figure 1

2. Continue to hold the button down until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating pattern. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 2.

Figure 2
3. Once the headphones LED is flashing red/blue, press and hold the power button on the wireless adapter. See Figure 3.
receiver.jpg
Figure 3
4. Hold down the button until the LED starts flashing red/blue in an alternating patter. The LED will blink blue, then turn off for a few seconds then blink red/blue. Release the button when the LED starts flashing red/blue. See Figure 4.
receiver-flash.gif
Figure 4
5. Once both the headphones LED and the adapter LED is blinking red/blue, press the volume up button once on the headphones. See Figure 5.
headphone-volumeup.jpg
Figure 5
Once the headphones is paired with the adapter, the LED on the headphones will blink blue once every two seconds. See Figure 6.
headphone-flash2.gif
Figure 6
When the adapter is paired the LED will be solid blue. See Figure 7.
receiversolid.jpg
Figure 7
The adapter may continue to blink red/blue for a few seconds even after the headphones LED starting blinking blue. This is normal; the adapter may take a few additional seconds before the LED turn solid blue.
Once the headphones and the adapter are paired, it is not necessary to pair them again even if the batteries on both units are completely drained.
Additional Note: Repeated pairing will not improve the sound quality or give the headphones and the adapter a cleaner connection.
