Check for a little switch at the bottom of the device (You may have to take it out or remove some car parts first). You have to change it from USA to EUROPE. Good luck...

Will only tune into odd no didgets 98.1 98.3

On many imported cars , the radios have options for the radio to be used in different areas of the world (UK/EUROPE : ASIA : USA+Americas etc. )

These different areas of the world use different  frequencies (with different tuning increments )

If you have a MENU button on your radio , see if you can find the Area  choice option.

Once found , then it is just a matter of switching to your particular  area

Changing tuning frequncy from odd to even No. Kenwood KDC-MP228

Most car stereo (stereos in general) won't tune to even numbers. If you're having problems tuning in your station then you're either too far away or you should take a look at your antenna.

If you do not have an owners manual then you can contact pioneer for one and they should be able to get you a download.

RAdio skips two numbers when tuning

You have a US tuner not a European one. Only European tuners can change the even numbers. USA uses the odds. As far as I know, the US models aren't capable of tuning to the evens.

Here is a link to the manual: There does not appear to be a way to set tuning to european standards. Is there a particular reason you want to be able to tune those frequencies?
