it took a while to power on now there is no picture or sound
Problem for Philips 55PP9401 55 in. Rear Projection Television
TV powers on, screen remains blank
About two days ago my tv started turning off on its own, or it would flash a grey screen with rgb color streaks across it and then turn off. Considering the TV actually turns on i'm thinking it might be the projection lamp. Buying a replacement lamp is cheaper than a consultation fee from most repair companies, let alone what they charge for labor and parts, so I'm going to try to replace the lamp and i'll let you all know how it goes.
