I have alot of viruses and every sofware i download they want me to pay is there any sofware that is free

Housecall. Last time I checked it was still free removal. MS also has MS Security Essentials, also free.

You may get blocked by the virus itself, if so look into a USB virus scan. It must be downloaded on another computer. The name escapes me right now. GL

I have a malicious virus...i tried Windows update virus removal..still have the block from accessing internet, asking to buy removal tool...tried restoring to factory settings upon restart..F10 doesnt...

In regards to removing the virus when you did the factory restor did you actually to the restore of the restore partition on the hard drive or from restore disks. If it was from the restort partition it is possible that the virus spread to that drive.

If you have access to another computer then I would connect the drive to other computer and try to scan the drive.

The reason for this if Windows thinks the virus is a system file the removal program can not remove it if Windows is running. So connecting it to another computer allows you to fully clean the hard drive. However with alot of viruses at this level will cause you to have to do a clean reinstall of Windows any ways. So you may have to look using your restore disks any ways to get a clean reinstall of Windows.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions

How i can update the quick heal anti virus

Hi !!

There can be multiple reasons for that. There is a well known virus which won't allow computers to update antivirus and also in my opinion this antiviirus is not good you can find much better than this. As a computer expert i'll recommend you nod32 and after that Avg. You can install anyone of them it'll give you much better results. Free versions of both are available on websites you can try free version before making purchase decision.

In order to remove virus try this.

Goto command prompt
type cd.. until you reach c drive
then type dnscache
it'll clear you dns cache and you'll be able to visit antivirus site. Update and run full scan.

Actually this virus blocks dns of security sites and redirect to your ip

Hope that helps

How do i remove a virus from my computer?

You need to get a good anti virus program and install it on your computer.
it will scan initially, which will check the boot partition and main windows files.
then once the program is installed run a full scan on your computer.
I use Panda Anti Virus,

you can get a free version of AVG anti virus at the link below.

You will find if you think you have one virus, you may have a huge amount of spyware or virus in your computer. Don't wait, get a good antivirus now.

Can't open orkut

Assumption: Your internet connection is not making any problem with it.
This problem happens in Internet Explorer (IE). Both both Gmail and Orkut is inaccessible in IE. Even if you will install Mozilla Firefox then the problem will persist with an error message.

This is happen by a virus infection that block the Orkut and Gmail. the only solution is that, you have to scan your PC with a updated antivirus/antispyware software and then browse.
I know this is not a big problem and this will soved by the above method.
