Key board and mouse is locked (by 2 users)

Respected Sir,
i have Compaq Tablet PC. After starting up, my PC asks 4 user name and password as usual but problem is m not able to write over there. The keyboard and mouse not operating.
Plz suggest.

i have a similar problem. i can login to my system but there are no icons on the tablet's desktop. Addtionally, the start key doesnt bring up the start menu, neither can i right click the screen to get any menu options at all.The only thing i have gottn a response to is pressing alt+ctrl+del. Otherwise. i dont know what else to do to get any menu option or any other response to start using my tablet pc.
