Ps3 hooked into tv, but tv says no signal and it won't read the controllers

try only having the hdmi cable hooked up to ps3 and tv, turn off ps3 and hold power button for 5 or 10 seconds and you should hear 3 beeps, this should reset the ps3 and detect the settings, if this doesnt work you mmay have to manually change audio and video settings in the ps3 settings menu to hdmi output and auto detect which settings work.

The set receive no signal at all. It will be best get it repaired by any experienced service technician.

Try changing the reselution on the PS3 to a lower setting when on the TV that is does not work on. Had the same problem and that fixed it. PS3 is sending a signal the TV can not read.

by new 1ns i had the same problem i bought new 1ns it worked just fine

1. check the input that the PS3 is connected to
2. select that input on the TV
3. Press and hold the [power] button on the PS3
4. perform the video setup for the PS3

My guess is that you don't have the HDMI setting correct on the PS3.

ok i have come acrost this problem with my ps3
turn the ps3 off plug all the cables in right and put the tv on the right video input now hold down the power button on the ps3 for about 30 - 60 secs or untill it beeps or you see it working

you can try getting a new power cord and a/v cord or just borrowing one of your friends to try out. the problem might be your tv. have you hooked up and other videogame systems to it and you got the same problem? do you have your ps3 hooked up to hd or hdmi?

Loop the ps3 through the tv and out to the receiver. You only need audio going to the receiver.

Put your optical cables into the amp and not the tv,also make sure the ps3 audio is set to bitstream.

it's usually a grounding issue with yoru cable connection. disconnect your coaxial cable from your tv and you'll lose your humming and lines.
