Hi have 02 sandisk sansa 2G and 4G not running, think to me blocked after my kids downloaded a bad MP3 or maybe a virus, can those be repaired or checked

Try to plug your player in a computer..if its detected format it...this would remove some bad files or virus in it.

You can download the appropriate driver from

You need to use the Sansa Media Converter program to convert videos (and photos) to a format the Sansa can handle. If you don't have the SMC, you can download the Windows version from

Not getting started..


Recovery Mode: download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Start the update software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_95hLqZxCHc&feature=related here is a link to a kid showing you how to goto recovery mode.

I dont know how to download videos to my sandisk 250e 2g


Use the Sansa Media Converter to convert videos to a format the Sansa can handle and transfer them to the Sansa.

Sorry to say, you are going to have to reset and re-add your songs. I had the same problem. Use a pin to reset your SD and you should be good. Good luck

I need to try to recieve info on getting rid of a virus off my mp3 player i think i have a vrius on my mp3.. i have a much of folder i kant erase them and songs too


if you are saying you can't delete or add media to you'r sandisk sansa mp3, it is not a virus it is a firmware error. i have had the problem myself. Follow instructons below if this is the problem.

1.Connect Sandisk Sansa To Computer
2.Go to My Computer
3.Find Your Device
4.Right Click On Your Device
5.Click Format
6.Complete Format
7.Go Download Sandisk Sansa Firmware, Follow Instructions From www.Sandisk.com
8.Everything hould Work Fine.

If you have another device to test the card in, try that. Then you will know if the card is bad.
