My scanner is stuck

If you reset and/or re-initialized the scanner, then you quite possibly have deleted the frequencies you had programmed in it. Can you see any frequencies showing when you have the scanner in manual mode? If so, try pressing the lockout button, which usually is marked with something like L/O. If L/O appears on the screen, then that channel is locked out. Press the L/O key again to unlock it.
