Built in cam won't work.

check to see that it is being detected in "device manager", also check the manufacturers website for any driver updates.

if simply you need the drivers to re-install it then simply go to http://global-download.acer.com/image/ico_download.png if you need more then that, them please give more info next time :)

This seems to be a common problem as i have the same issue, we need to report this to Acer and they will relece a fix for it or at least offer to collect it and fix it, they are normally good that way.

configure yahoo msngr to use your camera . If in doubt try with netmeeting first .

unfortunately there could be the possibility that your acer cam is not compatible with vista.. vista is a tricky os right now so it is particular on devices and compatability issues--i was an early adoptor and it isn't fun.. i would check out logitech cams, they seem to work well but look for the vista compatible.. you may want to visit your acer website and see if there are any update or downloads for current users that now have vista.. hope this helps..
