Problem with Fujitronic FA-1310S Air Conditioner

Fujitronic FA 1310S A/C unit overheated

My air conditoining unit overheated & the air conditioner stopped. Does anyone know if this is a safety feature that the unit will work again after it cools down, or I wonder if it bought the farm?

Call the manufacturer. These air conditioners are notoriously problematic.

if the banging noise only happens when the compressor turns on or off then check the compressor shock mounts .. the compressor is mounted on rubber or spring mounts . if they are out of place or damaged then the compressor will hit the sides as it comes on or turn off .. if the unit was stored upside down or on its side then there is a good chance that the shock mount is out of place ..
