Question about Samsung SYNC SGH-A707 Cellular Phone
Phone is working fine got it from girlfriendbut i want to lock some calls and messages but she cant remember the password she used.
HOW TO FACTORY RESTORE YOUR PHONE.
*2767*3855# - FULL E2P RESET
open up your phone and type it EXACTLY like shown. it should look like you are attempting to make a call.
this WILL delete everything on it and revert it to factory settings, so i recommend that you save everything off it, and upload ALL your contacts to your SIM. to do that:
1. open up the address book
3. OPTION 13: COPY TO SIM _OR_ OPTION 14: MOVE TO SIM
when that is done, punch in the code.
you should get some text saying not to do anything and that it will reset when its done [note the improper grammar, haha :)]
remember that it WILL DELETE EVERYTHING off of your phone, so i HIGHLY recommend that you back everything up onto a memory card.

Thanks. I needed to clear out an old phone after buying a new one. Found that this code needs to have the SIM in place and then it works like a charm. After using the code, I needed to clear out my contacts on both the phone and SIM. Where it had previously asked me for a password, it now said "New Password", so I gave it six digits and then it said "Confirm Password". After that, it deleted all my contacts as I had asked it to.
