about the only thing to try would be to remove the inner door panel to get to the control bd then you will see a mylar ribbon looks like a fat piece of scotch tape pull up on the plastic connector that holds it in and pull the ribbon out then get a clean pencil eraser and gently clean the ribbon and put it back in dont forget to push the locking tab back down then try it again and let me know

SOURCE: Dishwasher starts then stops
My (KUDI01TJ)Dishwasher did the same thing.
I Pressed start, it acted like it was starting and then turned off.
I started the rapid advance service diagnostic feature:
1.Close dishwasher door
2.press "Hi-Temp Wash"
3.press "Energy Saver Dry"
4.press "Hi-Temp Wash"
5.press "Energy Saver Dry"
This started the diagnostics and the dishwasher went through each cycle.
After this, my dishwasher worked fine.
I think the controller must have got in some wierd mode and unpluging the washer would not clear it out but running the
diagnostics cleared it.
Hope this works for you

SOURCE: Our dishwasher won't start.
A common issue with kitchen aid dishwashers i have come across is the thermal fuse. it is located above the control board inside the door. Take the screws along the inner edge of the door to access the board. Make sure to disconnect the power or shut off the breaker because there is live power to the fuse. Check the fuse for continuity. There is a kit to fix this problem.
