SOURCE: Broken cooking appliance :( please help

if the fan is spinning then it sounds as though the element has gone. has your fuse box recently tripped? it may have been the blowing element.

If fan is workintg, but no heat, then replace oven element.
If no heat or fan, then make sure timer is set on manual and not on auto

SOURCE: fan oven option not functioning on main oven

On my Belling it was the oven multi function switch that was faulty. I replaced it - carefully (lots of coloured wires) and it works fine now. Hope this helps

Belling built in fan oven (XOU60FP)is overheating

Have same problem, I am repairing our 648HM double oven. Top oven overheats. I am an electronics engineer. I found that top oven fan has failed, this is the first thing to replace. The grill element also failed which maybe due to the overheating oven. NIGEL

Fan and grill works, grill actually cooks but oven wont heat up - is this the element

Without a doubt this is the element that is faulty.
It is located at the rear of the inner oven compartment behind a removeable cover.

Belling synergie. oven does not heat up. grill ok. think i need to set to manual but how???

if its flashing auto.
Press and hold the 2 buttons on the left hand - clock and cook time and then press the + button.
This then sets the time to allow manual and takes the auto off.

Oven

oven has two fans. the second fan is out of sight and cools the casing. it is operated by a seperate stat. not unusual for it to run for up tohalf hour after switching off. if it runs for an excessive time may be a fault nwith fan stat
