Question about Computers & Internet
I have a problem with my lcd monitor, noticeably I saw an orb or small circle gradient white spot in top center of my lcd monitor....Im wondering whats the real cause? whats the factors why these are occuring?
Pls help, My lcd has its warranty should I have to return it to the store?
Like I said previously if it is still under a service contract or a warranty contact where you purchased the item and invoke the coverage you paid for.

If it is under warranty you do not want anyone but a warranty registered specialist to even touch your unit , for it can negate your warranty.

If the spots remain in the same place I'm sorry to say no. Be careful what you clean the screen with. I'm a fan of a warm wet damp only rag. Using alcohol or other cleaners may damage the surface. There are also cleaners available at local stores. You don't need anti-static on an LCD display. The spots can be from pressure on the display applied at some point even if that pressure happens when closing or transpoting your laptop. There is no way to fix it.

what video card are you using? normally you will not need a driver for a monitor.
does your video card support the lowest resolution the monitor you brought?

I hate to say it, but that's fatal
The black dot will just grow until the rest of the screen fades.
It is pixels dieing in the monitor

It is the LCD itself failing, no repair for the LCD itself, the screen will need to be replaced. Likely cheaper to replace the entitr monitor
