Hoover commodore mark 1. On standard wash cycle, whether it be heavy or light loads, when it gets to approx 5 minutes, the water solenoids cut in and try and refill the bowl as if it is starting a fresh run. I have cleared the tube from the pressure switch to the bowl, the pressure switch/ transducer is functioning as i tested with a meter. Have replaced the timer assembly with a new unit of same. Checked the cold/ hot switch, seems ok. Lost...
SOURCE: Washing machine not filling with water not washing but will empty and will spin
like the anchor idea?, no sorry, this does sound like the water is not getting to the machine, so, when you turn the machine on does it make a slight buzzing noise, if so the fault is no water in the pipes to the machine (from the house), if no buzzing check the solenoids with a multimeter for open circuit (removing the 2 wires first) oh and the plug obviously / replace solenoid if needed, i am sure this will cure your problem, if so rate me please, thank you

1. Make sure water comes out of the hot water hose into a bucket.
2. Check to make sure the solenoid valve is working. The buzzing is the 60Hz on the coil and can make a lot of noise if valve does not operate properly. Try blowing into the hot water port. If the solenoid is functioning properly air will move freely, if not its stuck.

Read your user manual - but I would suggest that you may not have setup the balance properly. Check the level of the machine and adjust to be as square as possible by adjusting the feet at the bottom. If the water isnt coming in on both hot and cold sounds like a common problem - perhaps the water level sensor is playing up or something else has been knocked during transportation of the machine when you moved house. Check your user manual for troubleshooting. Sounds dumb, but check that 'delay start' isnt selected also. check both hoses filters are not blocked.

There is a service manual behind the control panel it will show you how to test the door locks. If might have a bad lock solenoid.
SOURCE: Zanussi ZWD1680W Front Load All-in-One... Problem:
With the symptoms you describe i would suspect a intermittent heater element fault as you are getting earth leakage current which is tripping the whole supply rather than a current overload which would just trip the socket circuit breaker. Get the heating element checked over first as this is the most likely cause.

Yes. Already completed that. However, just for the fun of it, have you any ideas?
