Leaking water After a complete cycle a small amount of water comes out from underneath the washer. I tipped the washer back & looked up into the washer & saw a litlle water dripping from a small motor and what I think is the pump. Does this need to be replaced? Where can I find one?

I have the exact problem as pmdenny's. I took the pump off, cleaned it, then reinstalled it. The washer worked for a couple of days but now its quit again. I think the leaking water must have destroyed the little motor.

while washing a load of clothes my wife noticed water on the floor. After unloading it and then without clothes I started to fill the tub. It took a few minutes but the water did appear again from underneath. Is it a seal gone bad?

My wife noticed water on the floor after washing a load of clothes. I filled the empty tub and it started to leak again after a few minutes. It was just filling so nothing was moving at the time. Did a seal go bad on me or what?

I replaced the pump with a new one I ordered from Fisher Paykel in Huntington Beach, CA. It cost $75 and was very easy to swap out. Good Luck!

My Kitchen Aid clothes washer is leaking water from the bottom.

HI couple things to check, water hoses coming into washer, tip the washer back and look underneath and see if you can see where its coming from, most common leak on this one is the drain pump which is located right on the front of the motor, if you tip the washer back its a plastic pump with 2 big hoses going into it, they usually crack and leak water from there. They are only about $30.00 to buy.

Small puddle of water underneath washer when wash cycle was completed.

That could be 1 of a couple things.

1) During the agitate cycle... some water could've made it out of tub.

2) Possible Tub Crack (or overflow line)

3) Check your inlet lines

I would run it again watching it very carefully to determine if any of these are the problem.

About 1 minute into the cycle water starts running out from underneath of the washer. Checked all the hoses that are connected to the back and none are leaking

this is either the front seal that goes from the outer tub to the front of the washer or a hole in the outer tub itself or one of the hoses underneath the seal and the hoses are easiest to check you can take a cup of water and slowly pour it into the front seal. take care not to overfill it to where it spills into the tub and see if you are getting water on your floor from that. the hoses tip the washer up onto its back and look at them from the bottom for any cracking etc. the tub itself can only rust out on some of the neptune models or on others is plastic and can get punctured. just have to look for damage with a light and a mirror.

Oil and water leak

Chances are they are not related if the water is clean. These units can run quite a while dripping small amounts of oil. The drain hose is a possibility but there are other places it can leak from. Call a local tech he can run the machine with the cabinet removed and should be able to find the source of the water leak. good luck

Washer leaking water from bottom

You may want to check the seal at the bottom of the agitator, there is a o-ring that keeps the water in the drum from leaking through the agitator as it spins. This is a cheap seal and will wear over a period of time from exposure to bleach and detergent. You need to take the agitator apart and remove it from the drum and you should see this seal at the base of the agitator were it meets the drum.

Replace the seal and reassemble, take the metal casing off the washer and fill the drum with a little water, wait, and see if the water is leaking under the drum. If no leak, try to reassemble and run the washer. If is still leaks then check
