My laptop is showing e latter in all gadgets on the screen

Hi,

First of all, you need to select the phone language to English or whatever you want. Your all gadgets will follow the same language. Somply click on weather gadgets and select the right top Setting Icon. Select your city along country and that's it.

it is normal, windows decided to remove the support of it because too many malwares where passing by...
for my part i have seven X64 and i only have the orange calendar working, if i take the clock, it have a bug, it first shows correctly, but then disapear, and i saw one day by moving a monitor position to have the two screen one over the other, and the clock was at the top, but when i came back to normal config (one monitor) it disapears again...
so no more gadgets !

If you can't start gadgets by right-clicking on your screen , go to
Computer/C/programs Files/Windows Sidebar/Gadgets .

Just position the mouse pointer in the upper-right corner of the gadget you want to remove and then click the X that appears.

Removing a gadget from the desktop doesn't delete it from your computer. So, if you're removing a gadget because you think it might be a security problem, you'll want to go the extra step and remove the actual gadget program from the computer.

To completely remove a gadget program from your computer, open the Gadgets Gallery window by right-clicking the desktop and choose Gadgets. Then, right-click the gadget's thumbnail, and then choose Uninstall from the shortcut menu.

Right-Click on your desk top click on gadgets. Then drag and drop the ones you want back.

What may be happening, is your antivirus may be interfering with the gadgets ability to go online and get more.

try the following.

Please press the windows key on your keyboard , hold it down, and press R

type in msconfig and press enter.

on the very top tab,on the right section, click on startup, then on the bottom click disable all..

then click apply, then click ok.. Now.. restart the computer..

Try to go online and get gadgets again, ideally, it should work now.

For windows 7 to get gadgets back on the desktop you need to minimize all running programs and make sure you see your desktop. do a right click with your mouse on any empty space on the desktop and then in the menu that comes up do a left click on Gadgets and it will open up a window with all the options you can put on your desktop. to have it display on the desktop just double left click any of them and they will show on there.If you dont like some you put up you can just hover with mouse over it and it will give you an X to close it or little wrench which allows to customize the widget it self. Another way to get the gadgets on you desktop is to go to control panel under you start button and then if you are in category view which is if you have only few icons so to get to gadgets in upper right corner there is option that says VIEW BY: and here is where you choose large or small icons and you will see many more icons appear and one of them is gadgets icon. double click it and it goes to same screen as explained in beginning of solution. Try re-installing google sidebar, or make sure you're on the internet.
