Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Sansa e260 won't accept pictures

I've reformatted my sansa e260, but now it says that it doesn't accept any other files, but audio.  Did I, somehow, break my MP3 player?

Are you using the Sansa Media Converter to convert / transfer the photos?

Thats the only way to get photos / videos on the Sansa Products.

I keep trying to reformat my sansa e 260

what u want to do it go to my plug in the sansa to your computer and go to my computer...then right click on the sansa e260 ..then click format....if that does not clear ur bad files go back to my computer go to ur sansa then open it up on ur comp and delet all the files u can do this by clicking one folder ONCE then pressing ctrl a at the same time and release then press the delete bullon (not the back space) then it will ask you if you are sure u want to delet yes then go back into the rhopsady/samsung program and right click on the mp3player and click format and that should work

Sansa Media Converter software lets you convert photos and videos as appropriate,
and then transfer them to your Sansa player. Sansa Media Converter offers
features such as cropping, rotating, and resizing before transferring them to your
player as well as the ability to transfer photo and video files to your microSD card.
Refer to the Sansa Media Converter software for file formats supported.
To transfer photos and videos to your Sansa player, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Sansa player to your computer.
2. Select Converter using Sansa Media Converter on initial connection.
3. Click Add Media to select photo or video files to be converted.
4. The Sansa Media Converter will store all converted files in My Album. Click
the Album Name box and type in the name you want.
5. Click to start the conversion process. A status box will appear
showing which file(s) are being converted.

Mac and our Sansa E260

This player is incompatible with the iTunes service. iTunes uses AAC files, which the Sansa player cannot read.

These are not particularly Mac compatible either - you must reformat it in the Macintosh, but if there's a way, this website will have it:

yes, set up ur configuration setting... uncheck the option "sync automatically" so that it will not transfer songs to ur sansa automatically....

Need to reset sansa e260

i suggest that you should reformat mp3 player it might contain viruses, and other malicious programs. After reformat your mp3 player will be as good as new.

Why does this happen to my converter/e260? (pic)

the sansa media converter is only used for videos and pictures.
for song you go to my computer and u will see that it says sansa e260 you click on it then it will have files for music vieos pictures and recoding click on music and drag ur music on to it.
