Older gator 4x2 was running fine all the sudden just stops

sounds like a bad shifter switch, let me know if you need me to order you one

it could be the gear switch, try calling the tech support and they are very good at leading you to the right results

it sounds like you need the peg perego gearbox, my kids noticed the locking and grinding noise so I contacted the guys at

and they walked me through the repair, they were very helpful

remove the wheels & inspect the brakes as the pads or shoes are most likely worn out!

the gator toys don't have spark plugs

I would replace the high/low switch and the reverse switch. One time a replaced the high/low switch and the reverse switch quit on me 2 weeks later.
You can also get the Peg Perego Gator Shifter that upgrades the vehicle.
