Hello there, I need a watch band for my Akribos watch, it is the watch with the planets and diamonds on the face and one the perimeter of the watch face, i think it is an XX15, not sure.

It seems to me to be the battery. Batteries vary from watch to watch but the norm is 2 years. But you never know how long a watch has sat on the shelf of a store, etc.
I would take to a local jeweler to have them test the battery in your watch.
