You need to put the sata drivers onto a floppy disk and when it asks during the xp setup do you want to install any 3rd party drivers say yes and load the drivers from the floppy. The sata drivers with the floppy generator should be on the drivers cd you recieved.

When I will going to install win xp(sp2) with sata harddisk its show no dsrive installed on your system

The problem is that XPinstallation CD does not have a SATA driver, unless you have a SATA drive on adisk etc. and can install the driver when XP asks for a hard drive driver then,XP cannot detect the hard disk and therefore won't install XP. The FIX. Go into the BIOS anddisable the SATA drive (enable IDE emulation), this will make XP think it is aIDE/PATA hard disk. Then you can install XP normally. When Windows hasbeen installed then install all the device drivers (including the SATA driver),then shut down and boot up and got into the BIOS and enable the SATA drive.

System running slower that normal, and freezes randomly.

1st you go BIOS setup and change the Boot Order or Boot sequence.
  • Select Boot From CD Rom.
  • Then Save the setting .
  • Insert the Window XP Cd in the Cd Driver .
  • when the computer start again .
  • It will boot from Cd Rom.
Then you follow the instruction and install the windows.

ASUS M2N68-AM SE2 GeForce 7025 Socket AM2+ MB built system. Works great with Sata hard drive. Removed my older 500GB IDE hard drive and CDROM from old PC. When i try to put both, or either 1 into to IDE...

Try to go into the bios and set the first boot device as your sata hdd. There will be a option in boot section of the cmos setup where the hdd drive order will be mentioned. If PATA is shown first press enter in the option select SATA and press enter save and exit changes things should go on fine.

Also check your pata hdd and cdrom specific jumper setting. For more help post your HDD model and make and cdrom model and the bios type

Blue screen when loading windows 2003 server

if you get the blue screen code and type it in you can find some answers there, i would sugest that you reset all the bios settings to factory default, that normaly fixes the bluescreen on instalations, you may need the motherboard drivers for the sata and put them on floppy for the system to install the hard drive drivers.
one problem i do come accross is that sata drives are funny so in most bios settings there is a sata setting that switches back to IDE it was for backward compatability problems.
good luck

What cable?

This message is displayed the motherboard attempts to preform a PXE boot. In otherwords, it is attempting to boot from the network.

This message is displayed under the following conditions:

1) No boot device (i.e. harddrive, cdrom) was detected. (Remember, even with a fresh harddrive you will get this message because the harddrive does not have an operating system tellling the BIOS it is bootable.)
2) The BIOS is configured to boot from LAN (PXE) before the hard disk drives.

To fix:

1) Power down your computer and check all power and data cables (ALSO JUMPER SETTINGS!) leading to the HDD, CD-ROMS, and other drives.
2) Hold down the key to access your BIOS while turning the computer on from a powerless state.
3) Change the boot order putting LAN (PXE) boot last: I would do CD, HDD, LAN.
4) Exit and save the changes.
