Delete an application
1. In the device options, click Advanced Options.
2. Click Applications.
3. Highlight a third-party application.
4. Press the Menu key.
5. Click Delete.

The two solutions to this issue are to add a micro SD/SDHC memory card to the device, or to wipe the device (after prefoming a backup in Desktop Manager) to see if that works.

To wipe the device you will go to Options > Security Options > General Settings. Press the menu key, then select wipe handheld.

You will need to reboot the device to remove the icons left over. If they are not removed after rebooting, you can highligh the icon and click the menu option to delete.

Take the battery cover off. Take your finger and press on the lens area (below the flash) you should hear a "snap". Don;t over do it though.

Based on www.blackberry.com the error message you are getting is due to typing incorrect password for a couple of times (10 or more).All of the data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone have been deleted.

Your Blackberry probably just needs a firmware restore. Here's a guide on how to restore the blackberry firmware, the website is at : Restore Blackberry to factory settings.Download the Blackberry Desktop manager and run the application loader. Make sure you check to delete old applications in advanced tab. Carefully all you datat will be wiped.

As I was updating the software on my BB Curve 8300 the screen on my computer said the BB had been disconnected and now all I have on my BB is a circle with a folder inside it with the number 507 beneath...


Hold down the ALT key, and press right-hand CAP key press the DELETE key aswell together which resets the blackberry . Still if you issue Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and double-click the Application Loader icon. Use the application loader tool to Re install the BlackBerry Device Software.

If it is application error then follow these steps: Warning: You should not install a version of BlackBerry Device Software that is earlier than the version installed on the BlackBerry smartphone. Doing so could cause the BlackBerry smartphone to malfunction. Before proceeding, make sure that the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software is installed on the computer by completing the following steps: Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Click Help. Select About Desktop Manager. Click the Device Software tab. Verify that the BlackBerry Device Software displayed is the latest version currently available from the wireless service provider. Warning: The following procedure will delete either all data, or all data and applications on the BlackBerry smartphone. Back up the BlackBerry smartphone data before proceeding. The blackberry has a "Wipe" function.
Delete all device data
Verify that you have a backup copy of your BlackBerry® device data.
CAUTION: If you have turned on content protection, the process for deleting all device data can take up to an hour to complete. You
cannot stop the process after you start it. If you reset your device, the process continues after the device restarts.
1. In the device options, click Security Options.
2. Click General Settings.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Wipe Handheld.
5. To delete all third-party applications from your device, select the Include third-party applications check box.
6. Click Continue.
7. Type blackberry.
