Question about Apple Epson Stylus Color 777i InkJet Printer
Epson Stylus 7771. I thought I was out of ink when the printer flashed red. When I attemped to change them, the cartridges rolled to the right and will not cycle back to the middle for removal. I was able to pull them back to the center to change the ink but after doing that I got the same red light flashing and the cartridges rolled back to the right side and will not move from there. So nothing will print. I turned it off and on, moved them once again by hand and still get the same result. I just printed on it a couple of hours agao. Any suggestions?

Reset your counter back to zero. But for some you must also check the waste bin status. Need disassembling this is to ensure ink will not overflow from your printer.
Reseting is only software base. Try this link
Post again if you cannot still got it.

SOURCE: THE PRINTER DOES NOT PRINT.
If you can't move the carriage to the center manually, I would suggest you to dismantle the machine and check for broken or obstruction. But first of all, try moving it manually, pull it while you shake it gently. If it could be moved to the center somehow, then Turn back on the machine and check again. Try changing the cartridges or clean the contacts. If the problem persists, I will also recommend you to go for a new machine (if you wish to do) and the model you've mentioned "Epson Stylus NX305 All-in-One Printer" is 100% compatible with your Mac (It supports PowerPc OSx 10.3.9 to 105.x) [Click here for more info].
*Sometimes repairing the machine or replacing cartridges would cost more than the Printer's price which isn't recommended.
