Question about Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 Webcam

Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 loading error

I use:
- Notebook Asus W200 model: W2U00VC 24M PM-770 with
- Processor: Intel® Centrino® M 770 2.13 GHz
- RAM: 2024 Mb
- HDD: 500 GB
- Windows XP Professional SP3 English (US)
- Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000
- Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 software v. 2.07
I used Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 with software v. 1.21.113. LifeCam software installed correctly and worked fine with Skype. While using Skype when I clicked on the tray icon dashboard started and could be used for zoom or effects. However when I double-clicked on Microsoft LifeCam’s icon on my desktop I had got an error message and dashboard didn’t start. Ever!
I have upgraded LifeCam’s software to v. 2.07(newest available). LifeCam works with Skype, but dashboard doesn’t start either when I click on desktop or tray icon now. I receive an error:
“AppName: lifecam.exe AppVer: 2.7.569.0 ModName: unknown ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 06d8c1d7”
and log file 13b0_appcompat.txt (below) is generated and then LifeCam is terminated.
Could you please helping me with solving this issue, please?

Blue screen appears when I instal Microsoft nx-6000 cam

hi adrian,

thank you for using fixya.

you may have encountered that blue screen of death error because of an IRQ conflict. this cane be caused by a conflicting resource for computer components. much like 1 car battery being used by 2 cars at the same time.

o have this resolved, it is best that you have the camera replaced with another model or you can try to remove other USB devices plugged into your computer until you find out what is causing the error message or the conflict to your new Life Cam.\

hope this helps.

regards.

States the following:
start -> run -> services.msc
then go to Messenger Sharing Folders USN Journal Reader service
click on proprieties and disable it
Ok, My BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH is gone and the Initiation error, but
I have to you my headset as the sound doesn't work with my Lifecam NX 6000.

I have a UPDATED Vista Ultimate 64 bit system on a EVGA motherboard.

IF Microsoft can't get their stuff working easy on my new 3000 buck 64 bit system
it is know wonder that most of my other aplications won't run on Vista 64 bit either.

P.S. Does anyone want to buy a $3000.00 buck paper weight?
