Question about Sharp Aquos LC-37G4U 37 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
Hello, I have a 46" new flat screen. My daughter was trying to show us something and poked at the screen. We then noticed that there is a blue spot where she poked at the screen, it has not gone away. I know there isnt anything broken or cracked. Is there a way this blue image can be removed. I NEED help!!!
You could try resetting tv to factory default ie new instilation or disconnect frpm power outlet for 24 hrs and reconnect sounds daft but did this on an old samsung that had a carboard box against the screen and was suprised that it cleared the problem

As I'm sure you will notice that you rub your finger accross the lcd panel when it is on and you will see a blue trail as you cross the screen. I would simply try to wipe the spot with a soft dry cloth while the unit is on and see if that corrects the problem. If not I'm sorry to say that the lcd panel has been damaged.
