Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone

My dash wont hold a charge or even let me use it ive had it for a month now and it jus sits on the charger with thr red light on i try to turn it on and when i plug the charger back in all it says is connect to a power source then shuts off i have gone through tmobile to find a solution ans all they keep doin is sending me new batteries they gave me 3 new batteries and they all have the same dillemma can anyone help me

Its one of to things either your phone port is going bad and not conducting enough electricity like it should or your charging cable is going bad.. my dash phone used to do the same thing

Why won't my car start? no lights interior/exterior.


It seems that the battery is incapable of holding a charge. You might try disconnecting the battery cables and try charging the battery again over night. Reconnect and see if anything works - if nothing works - it's time for a new battery.

MY LG TONE HBS-730 WILL NOT CHARGE


It is charged when the red light goes out. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button for one second and an audible will give you the battery charge level - high - medium - low.

My bb curve wont charge ive tryed a new battery and charger the red light doesnt even turn on idk wat to do i just woke up and it was off plzzz help

Try cleaning your phone charger port wit brush.do it gently.
check for the charger port is loose with the board or not.
if its loose .you have to take it to the technician to fix it.
If this problem occured while your phone is being connected with charger then this might be a problem with the mother board.some times it happen becz of voltage fluctuation.

Ive been charging my blue tooth (new) for over 8 hours, the light is still red, and it wont even turn on! Can you help?


Try another outlet. If you're charging the headset through your computer, then use a wall charger. Leave it to charge overnight. If it wont charge, then bring it back to the store because your battery may be defective.

H700 wont do anything


I think the charger is the problem. I ordered one of these and then it wasn't charging the day I got it....it's supposed to go from red, to orange to green as it charges, but the red LED just goes off after a while, before the headset is fully charged. I solved this by charging it through a USB-to-miniUSB cable on my laptop USB port. This worked beautifully....unfortunately I think the H700 chargers are faulty.

Hi i have a Casio Exilim 8.1 digital camera, ive had it about a year and its worked fine but ive just put it on charge and on the charger thers a red flashing light, were normally the red light doesnt...


The cradle is defective.  Casio replaced the first one of mine for free then they told me to sit and spin when the second one broke 8 months later.  I had only used the camera ~ 10 times.  So, I went to a big box electonic store (Best Buy) and bought a Digipower travel charger.  It charged the battery up just fine.  I also bought a Dynex Memory Card Reader/Writer to transfer the photos to  my computer.  Good luck.  The defective cradle is a known problem that Casio is refusing to correct.

Hi car3r0,

You're correct. It doesn't sounds like the Dash is charging. At the very least, it doesn't sound like the Dash is charging properly. If you've got a T-Mobile store near by, you might want to stop by and see what they have to say.

(Note: the Dash battery has a tendency to go bad after about 12-14 months, so it may be as simple as a battery replacement. Worst case scenario, it could be a dead charging port on the device.)

Your battery might be dead. How long have u had the phone?? i had mine for 1 year and like 2 months b4 i had to buy a new one because it wouldnt hold a charge

In my experience when getting a phone wet your only choice is to let it sit. It could take a few days or a month but soon or later they usually fire back up.
