Question about Cameras
I have had this camera since Christmas, and lately it will not focus.
First of all, I am NOT an expert. I fiddled with my camera because I wasn't able to return or exchange it, and since it wouldn't focus, it was junk. So I figured, what the hell, take it apart and see what I see.
So, I took the camera apart. First, take the battery out. The lense ring is held on with double stick tape. Carefully pull it off. On the sides, the panels are held on with double stick tape. Carefully peel the panels away. There are 4 screws that hold the camera together, one on the battery panel side, two on the side of the light, and one in the tripod attachment hole. Carefully pull the main cover off of the camera. Inside, you will see a manual focus dial, right behind the lens. You will have to turn this slightly, put the camera back together to test, and repeat until it is fixed. I lucked out the first time.
I hope this helps, but don't yell at me if you break your camera. This is just what I did.
