The 106-page vtech up406 User's Manual is available
at www.manualslib.com but it does not contain a
circuit diagram. Perhaps it can help some anyway.

I'm not exactly sure what type of alphabet train you mean, but Amazon has a lot of them for sale. You can find a good one for around 40 dollars. You should be able to find what you need here:
