Axvf120rr f10 error

F10 error initially, now stuck in test mode

  • rod mcneill
    rod mcneill Feb 06, 2014

The maodel number is:AVXF 120 FR and not as previously mentioned, sorry if this has caused confusion. The initial problem was an F10 ERROR which after some research on the net informed me that the water pressure sensor switch had a problem, this was checked and found to be working correctly. On reconnecting the machine with electricity, it entered into a mode called 'TEST', this ran for some minutes and I assume came to a finish with end visible and flashing in the display. Attempted to try and run programme 5 which I was able to set into the display, however, when the '!' button is pressed to run the programme, the sreen displays 'END' flashing, each attempt to run this or any other programme results are the same. Switching off the electrics and removing the plug from the wall and then reconnecting results in 'TEST' mode. I am stuck in this perpetual cycle, hope this explains the situation more clearly. Any ideas, solutions would be greatly appreciated.

F10 fault

F1 through F10 fault codes are runaway temperature codes.
If this error code is shown while the oven is in day time mode, the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) would need to be replaced. Otherwise it may be the oven temperature sensor or Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD sensor).
Sounds like you will need to contact an appliance repair technician in your area to test each to isolate the problem.

Ecs 945gct m3 v h motherboard ver 3.1

Your motherboard keyboard controller is not initializing completely. The three LEDs shows the keyboard is powered and initializes, but the motherboard keyboard controller looks to be bad. I assume the keyboards work on other computers. Make sure there are no jumpers on the motherboard for the keyboard. You said the video screen is stuck on CMOS BIOS logo and is trying to continue with a missing keyboard or keyboard error. So since it got to the BIOS screen, pretty much everything else came up.

    Studio 35 F10 error

    Error F-10 = HDD problem

F-10 fix; do 08-690 which will probably get the machine running again unless the HD is totally fried. You can replace the hard drive with any hd as long as the firmware version is 17 or higher. If you take off the inner tray you can see it buried in the middle under a plate and a board. Make sure that the HDD is set to 'master' when replacing.
