You can download the blackberry desktop manager with media manager, which is Roxio.
you can delete and add music videos etc.
when your done with the deleting part, disconnect from the desktop manager.
remove your battery and replace it in the phone, let your phone reboot and you will not have those songs anymore.

you can get the software here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/

Good Luck and Thanks for using FixYa

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Phone cannot be controlled at all, and the display is a little hour glass just spinning in the middle of the screen. It goes on and off at will, and no buttons work.

It sounds like you have virus on the phone and in this case you will have to take it to a dealer so that they can help you there with the phone as they need to reformat and re install what the phone had on it from the Factory to get rid of that virus.a Reputed repair and servicing dealer will be able to help as they have the instruments needed to do the job.

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

For some reason my BlackBerry Curve 8310 deletes all my text messages and call logs on its own. How do I fix this.

My Pearl did that. The original memory card is quite small. If you have either too many emails or photos, songs, etc. on there, it will do that to save memory.

Make a habit of deleting your emails periodically and/or get a larger memory card.

How do I title the songs and will they apperar on mp3 screen?

You have to right-click each song in Windows Media Player, select "Advanced Tag Editior," and manually enter the song names in some cases (or select "Find Album Info" and acquire the info). Any songs that you edit in Windows Media Player will have to be deleted off of your mp3 player, and then re-added, or else it will not save the changes.

You can find the latest player by going to GPX's website - it is subject to constant change

Blackberry Curve 8310 loading ringtones

Two ways:

1. Use the included Blackbery Desktop software and run "Media Manager". This will let you transfer any song on your computer over to the BB.

2. You can mount the BB as a drive in Windows and just copy the music file over directly. (This may only work if you have a media card installed -- might not work with built-in memory only.)

After copying the music over use the included Media application to try to play it. Once it plays in Media Manager you can be sure it will play as a ring tone.

Use the "Profiles" application and select "Advanced." Scroll to the "Tune" setting and select it. Scroll to the top of the list and select "Browse..." From there you can select the song and it will be a ringtone.

You can also set a ringtone individually for a contact in the address book. Edit the person's contact info and choose a custom ring tone at the bottom of the Edit screen.
