Question about Pinnacle Studio Plus 12 for PC
I putting together a DVD of a concert which was done it a church. It's about 1hr 50 mins long altogether including menus etc.
When I try to edit around the 30-40 minute mark of the DVD timeline, it crashes and it always crashes with the video clip. Whats the problem, would the video clip be corrupted, damaged or is it a software issue.
It could be both. Video editing programs are resource hogs and tend to drain all of your resources. Not knowing what computer you have or the amount of RAM or OS you have, it's hard to tell. You can try shutting down other processes running in the background that you don't need before trying to edit the video.
Something else to consider is video software also needs considerable space to place temporary files when editing or ripping into a movie. You should ensure the hard drive that the temp folder is in had plenty of free space.
As far as the video file being corrupt, are you editing one file or are you putting together multiple files? If it's multiple files, it's very possible the file you're working on when it crashes is corrupt.
Hope this helps answer your questions.
Best of luck.
