What this light sequence means: • The printer is processing a request to cancel the current print job. • The printer is resetting to the user default settings. Any active print jobs are canceled. A user default setting is one you select and save which is different from the factory default setting. A user default setting remains in effect until you make another selection and apply it or until you restore factory default settings. What you can do: Wait for the message to clear. It clears when the printer finishes processing the cancellation request or when it resets to the user default settings.

Try to disconnect all cables from the printer and leave it off for about 30 seconds to clear the print job. Turn the printer back on and check the status lights, error light stop blinking then try connecting the printer back to the computer and try printing again.

The printer is ready to receive and process data. In addition, the toner in the toner cartridge is getting low.
You can press and release Continue button to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job.Turn the printer off and remove the toner cartridge, and shake it to extend the life. If toner light is on, replace the toner cartridge.

Resetting or reinitializing the network card's NVRAM will clear all TCP/IP configuration information. To have a record of this information, it is recommended that you print a network settings page prior to performing the reset procedure. Press to print both printer and network settings pages.
Turn the printer off.
Press the left front cover release button and pull the front door down.
Press and hold while powering the printer On.
Release when the LED is illuminated. NOTE: Be patient as the LEDs will light up in multiple patterns before finally stopping at

Slowly press the button until the , , and LEDs are illuminated. NOTE: Normally, this will require you to press the button 11 to 13 times, depending on the options and features installed.
Press and hold until all LEDs flash or strobe from left to right, then release the button. Wait until this process stops with a pattern of three LEDs that should resemble the Step 6 pattern.
Press and hold until the light pattern returns to the pattern of four LEDs in Step 5 or theHome position.
Turn the printer Off.
Turn the printer On. NOTE: If on a DHCP network, wait 30 seconds to see if the DHCP server/router sends out an IP address to the device. A settings page will automatically print if this is successful. A longer wait may be required on other networks.
Press to print the settings pages and observe that all the TCP/IP settings have been reset.
Reconfigure the device using DHCP, Auto IP (zero configuration) or the IP Setup Utility.
Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

does it have to connections to the printer like a usb and a paralel cable, this is a cable that has two big ends on it and just a straight cable . if there is you might be able to do this by usb, and it will also depend on what os you are useing
I can provideyou with the procedures to default the printer. That may help.
1. start with the printer turned off.
2. Press and holde the GO, Select and the Right Menu Arrow buttons while turning the printer on.
3. Hold the button in until the display show "RestoringFactory Defaults" then let go.
4. The printer should come back to a Ready state.
