Matag Refig MSD2351 sprays Mist from back left to outside

With the water supply turn on, a fine mist comes out the back lower left of REFIG. It appears to be from water spray from the fan. If water supply is turn off, and I release the water pressure by drawing water from the dispenser, the mist appears to stop. Maytag warranty appears not to cover any of this... Refig is 2 years old. Any ideas? I can remove the back plate and look latter today...

I do notice a hissing sound with the water supply turned on. Could there be an issue with the water supply to dispenser control value?

The water comes because of auto defrost of refrigerator. this process continues in every 8hrs. nothing to worry. just clear the dispenser by applying water over it. actually the mist appears because the water inside the dispenser is very cool. Generally this problem occures because of some dispenser problem.......... try this steps: 1) switch off your refrigerator for about 4to 5hrs 2) now open the back plate of the refrigerator.....after that, apply a sharp blow of air to the dispenser pipe with your mouth.. this will clear the dispenser 3) now go to the freezer part. open the pannel(to draw out the fan) 4) remove the clips of the fan so that the fan will not function during the compressor is on 5) switch on your refrig for about 1 hrs (notice- the fan should not blow air) 6) now after an hour, just turn off your refrig and connect the clips of the fan and place all the things as before it was   I'm sure that your problem will be solved

Try soaking in white vinegar or any anti-water scale product. Misting requires a very small orifice and clogging is common. If you can back wash compressed air thru the holes, try that. A guitar string might be run thru the orifice and then back-flushed.

We have an in wall air conditioner. I am not sure of the model #, but recently it has started spraying a fine mist back into the room. I removed the front of the unit this morning and found that the foam...

You could have a pin hole in your refrigeration line. The mist is probably the refrigerant coming out. Check the coil very carefully to see signs af any breaks. You may also have a bad drainage and the water is accumilating inside the unit. The fan blades can throw the water against the filter. Look inside for standing water. Good luck!

Problem with Germ Guardian Humidifier H2000B - Light turns red and the mist stops coming out after a few seconds of turning on the humidifier. There is plenty of water in the tank and the device is clean.

There are a few things to check that would cause the empty light to go on and the mist to stop.

Rinse the lid on the bottom of the blue tank. After you rinse it with warm water, dry it and then push the spring on the outside of the lid, it should move easily. Check the inside of the lid and make sure the rubber gasket is securely in place.

Remove the spray guide, and on the base of the humidifier to the side of the ultra sonic disk is a small white plastic pole with a washer-ring around it. This is the float, make sure it moves easily up and down the pole. Use white vinegar on a cloth or paper towel and wipe the pole down.

Reassemble the humidifier, use room temperature water in the tank, set to warm mist and let run for 30-40 minutes. Please make sure the humidifier is on a flat level surface, no carpeting or towel underneath.

Dometic rm3862 refig. not cooling .

It sounds like the interior fan has stopped. It should be located behind freezer back panel. Pull out the screws and have a look. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Water comes into machine when on dryer clothes tak forever to dry

This machine drys by intermittently spraying a mist of cold water into the warm, moisture laden air traveling in the tube at the back right side of the machine. The cooling of that air stream causes moisture to condense and join the added water, which is periodically pumped out the drain. It takes a long time, and the clothes are not as "dry" as you may be use to with a conventional dryer. Never try to dry more than a half tub of laundry. These machines are great if you have small amounts of laundry to do, have limited space, and / or do not have 240 volts, (or a gas supply) and cannot do an outside vent. Don't plan on doing more than two loads per day. (one in AM, one in PM) Please don't bother rating, as anything but a Fix-Ya will lower my score. Thanks.
