Question about IBM Lenovo 3000 N200 PC Desktop
Put the laptop upside down
Remobe the fan cover
Look for 3 (cromed) screws
Carefully remove them without dropping them IN the laptop
Gently lift the fan
You'll be surprised to see the dust packed on the outlet ( this is the problem ) it's actually blocking the heat outlet, your CPU heats up and at a certain temperature it shut's down automatically. It's normal .
As to be cleaned periodically !

Usually left side of the laptop is where the cpu and air bent is located. If this is overheating, try to elevate the unit to free it to get air, or clean the airways bent. If you are still get overheating clean the unit by getting into the fan or check the fan.

You will likely have to go through and create another boot disk, but this time, include the drivers that are going to be needed for SATA and your NIC. I have used an older version, but you should be able to include the drivers, and auto install / config then reburn the CD.
