Question about Xerox Phaser 7300DN Laser Printer

Color problem on half the pages

I inherited a Xerox 7300 dn.  I've tried adjusting the colors as best I can.  The problem now is that on the top half of my pages, the pictures are true to colors, but the bottom half is very red.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Colors do not align

Apparently, turning the unit off for 30 seconds, then back on will force the Phaser 7300 to do a color alignment procedure (according to Xerox support).

Then, if the problem persists, you are instructed to follow a very detailed troubleshooting procedure which I will leave with you in the following link:

I hope this helps!

Phaser 7300 dn prints full yellow color background on every page even if the background copy shows no color.

Most likely the yellow drum unit is causing that problem. The charge roller gets worn and makes whatever color it is in print out all the time. That would require replacing the yellow imaging unit.

Phaser 7300 - one color fading on diagnostics page

Are you using third party toner? That is one thing that causes that problem. Use only xerox toner.
The other thing is that your image unit could have come defected, if it was brand new. Try changing the image unit and that should fix that problem. Good luck. 016-1993-00 image unit & toner 016-1977-00

The TekColor correction options provide simulations of different color devices. Automatic is the default correction for general image processing. Use the following table to determine what option you want to use.

Description
Automatic Applies the best color correction to each graphic element: text, artwork, and photographs Office Color sRGB Display: Approximates the colors on a computer display.
sRGB Vivid: Produces brighter, more saturated colors than sRGB Display. Press Match SWOP Press: Matches specifications for Web Offset Publications.
Euroscale: Matches Fogra glossy paper specification.
Commercial: Approximates U.S. commercial press target.
SNAP Press: Matches specifications for Newsprint Advertising Production. None Applies no color correction. Use with other color management tools, such as International Color Consortium (ICC) profiles, ColorSync, or the PANTONE Color Chart for the printer.
