Lost Globe Browser Icon

I have tried a wipe and the Host Routing Table where you register now but the icon is still missing.

    I have found the solution. I just changed the theme and the new one shows the missing icon.

You will be able to get Browser Icon only if Blackberry services are active .....
May be icons are hidden,
In main menu select menu button and select show all icons options ....

hi mayasales you need to register your host routing table . Next you need to go to your setup icon and then make sure thatyou send the service books.. Next go to the globle and hit the meni key to dctoll down to options and next you change the browser to make sure it is on the wifi hotspot srtting. After that you have to go back to the wif settings and make sure it has the settings on it.

Where do I click to get to the internet i-con? I have been struggling to get to the internet icon to browse but I don't know where to click. Help me. Thanks.

You must have a data plan to have an internet browser icon
It may be hidden,
Go to home screen, click menu, select show all.
If not hidden, go to option, advanced option, host routing table
Highlight any line, press menu key and select register now

Can not see the web browser for blackberry 8300

Hi! Can you please confirm that you've subscribed for BlackBerry data plan? For your information having an unlimited data plan will not entitle you use browser in BlackBerry device. For browsing in BlackBerry device your SIM card need to have special APN

If you already have BlackBerry data plan then

go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table -> click Menu button -> select Register Now


Click Alt button and click Menu button -> select Show All. Look for the Internet Browser icon there.

I updated my os to os 5 on my 8900 curve but i cant find da bb messenger icon or da facebook icon, both applications are installed

you will have to redownload them from your app world I got the new update and it wipes everything off the phone 90% of the time if u can't get the net go to menu / options / advanced options / Host routing table / press your blackberry button and Register with network / all your internat related things will come back and you will gain access to the app tool from blackberry. its called "Blackberry App World"

I have a Blackberry 8330 that was received from the store last night...about 15 hours ago. This phone was a replacement for a lemon that was received and now this phone has no do I get the...

You may have to call your cellphone provider to get the service pushed; however, try this before you do:

Goto Options
then Advanced Options
then Host Routing Table

There should be several entries from your service provider, roll over the hight lighted entry (should be one) and press the menu key.  Select Register Now.

You should get a message stating that you have register successfully.  

Your browser service book was lost during the phone replacement and usually all your services are restore when registering.

Can,t connect to internet

If you have a signal, this often means that you have no hosts in the host routing table.

Go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Host Routing Table.
Click the Blackberry key to bring up the menu.
Choose "Register Now".

I don't seem to have a browser in my blackberry pearl 8100

Who is your service provider?

It could be a couple things. The first thing is make sure you do have internet plan. Make sure your carrier supports internet browsers in their package. If your device is new or had a recent software update you need to do this next step.

Go to the OPTIONS Icon -> Host Routing Tables -> (Mine is under Advanced Options), then left click button next to trackball and select. Register Now
If that didn't fix it then go on.

Then you might try is to make sure you do not have that ICON hidden and/or look under Advanced Options (Applications) and make sure it is truly missing.

To check if the application is installed, go to OPTIONS, Advanced Options, Applications and look for "Browser". If you do have one installed the ICON is probably hidden.

To unhide an ICON, you left click next to trackball to SHOW ALL , then highlight the Browser icon (the globe) left click and uncheck HIDE. Then you can rehide all the other ones that you want my unchecking "Show All".

If still not working you can also try to do a hard reset by removing the battery and reinstalling.

If you are using an Enterprise server through work there are some other steps.

Lost Icon

Click on Options Icon (looks like a wrench) then click on Advanced Options then Host Routing Table then click the button on your phone below the screen to the left of the ball (it is has a cluster of white dots on it), then click on "register now" and presto - you get your browser globe icon on your phone! Tada

Email unread icon on home screen always shows 2 unopened

I had the same problem If you SAVE any messages they move to your SAVED folder they will show as new just go into the file cabinet icon and see if any messages are there all you do is open them and the icon should go away
