Did you also purchase the power-supply? If so, connect a network cable from your computer to one of the LAN ports, and then use your web-browser to connect to the device's built-in web-server, and see if you can connect and configure the router.

Using d-link glb-802 c router , now purchased another system , from router how should i connect to my another system

if the router is wireless and the new system is wireless ready then the router should pick up the signal fine and run the internet smoothly however some routers come with a security key examples WEP, WPA, WPA 2 these are the most common forms of security if this is the case you will have to enter the key on the router or in the User Manual before you have internet access... if the router is not wireless then you simply buy a new ethernet cable which now are fairly cheap if you know where to go depending on size and plug it in to the router and the appropriate slot on the computer system and this should connect you to the internet... if you system is not wireless but your router is you can now buy wireless cards that fit into the computer which recieves the signal from the router or a wireless adapter which does the same but plugs in via USB. any other information please feel free to talk to me but these options should solve your issue

Change a battery on garage keypad

HI, you have to refer to your manual to avoid confusions and damage from any advise here. Or go to the store where you purchased that for after sales support. Even if I know the answer I would still refue to answer due to incompatible answers.

My main computer is an old one. I just bought a new one and I would like for it to go wireless. I asked the sales person at the store if I need a router and they told me no because it comes with the new...

I suspect that you and the sales person were talking about different things. . Your new computer probably came with a wireless MODEM, which must have a corresponding wireless ROUTER attached to your network. If you don't have a wireless router attached to your home network, you won't be able to connect wirelessly. . Post back if you need further information or if I've missed the question somehow.

I bought a wireless adapter at a garage sale and I do not know the WEP code

The WEP key is set in the wireless router you're trying to connect to, and that's the one you need to know. When you put the adapter in your computer and try to connect, you'll need to provide the code. There's nothing built into the wireless adapter already.

If you're trying to connect to a network and you don't know the key, you'll need to get it from someone who does. Or, if this is your own wireless router and was set up but now you've forgotten the key, you can reset it. There will be a recessed RESET button on the router's back panel. Press and hold it for 10 seconds and release it. The router will restart and all its settings will back to factory defaults. Then you can enter the wireless setup page and create a new WEP key.

I have a wrt150n purchased@ a garage sale and it asks for a pass word that i do not have

By default the router does not have a username so just leave that field blank and type "admin" for the password.

Link to router info: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/wireless/lbc/WRT150N "Go here every thing you will need".

My Craftsman remote won't close my garage door

If the remote opens and closes while inside the garage but not outside , there are a few things it could be. Assuming it was working fine before..
1. weak battery in remote.
2. remote itself could be bad. (unless you have more than 1 remote acting the same)
3. Logic board in opener is going bad causing limited range. Is the wire that hangs down from the opener straightened out? That is your remote antenna. Some people have coiled or even cut it off..reducing range.
4. Less likely but this can happen- interference from another electronic device, wireless routers, cell phone, new appliances etc.. can reduce remote range. Any new electronics recently purchased?

Finding the password

There should be a reset button on the back of the unit. Depress it for about 30 seconds. It will claer any settings in the router. The manual is on this link:

Click on this link or copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.

Garage opener

You won't likely get a definitive answer here since that question is highly dependent on the design of the system. I would run down the manufacturer to get a usable answer. I wouldn't wait long unless you don't have anything to steal in your garage.
