Sony DSC-T300

My camera worked wonderfully for about 7 months. Now, every time I turn it on, in a matter of minutes the camera begins to vibrate. I used to place my hand over the focus lens and that worked (I felt as if the vibration was being caused by the camera's inability to focus) but now that solution no longer works. We spent a lot of money on this camera and I am missing out on memorable photos because the vibration causes the camera to take blurry pictures. Any solutions????
