Everytime I try to play NCAA football online, it will let me go into the lobby, invite players, accept invitations, etc. But as soon as I get into the game I lose connection before the game is over. It may be before kickoff, it may be the fourth quarter. Lately it's happening earlier and earlier in the game.
It's very frustrating because I get a loss and an DNF everytime it happens. I haven't finished a game online in over a week.

Re: PS3 losing connection in online games
Either your connection is weak or you cant maintain a good connection to the servers. You can check your connection stregnth by going into settings, then network settings, and network connection test. after following the instructions, it will tell you the stregnth of your connection. if it is low (below 70 percent), you need to move your ps3 closer to the access point. The second problem cant be solved, it's the game company's fault.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If you are playing the same game as a friend, you can press the ps button and bring up their name in your friends list, press triangle and select either join game, or invite friend. But first you have to be inside a pregame lobby in order to invite someone. If however you are connecting via LAN which is linking two PS3's together then you have to use the LAN setting instead of online play.
from the opening menu choose online and then either play now, or goto lobby. If you goto lobby choose lobby, (for starters pick my skill level) and then you can click on someones name and invite to a game, or if the invite you it will say so on the scrolling info bar at the bottom of the screen, thier name will also have a lightning bolt next to it if they invited you. click on them accept invite and try and win. my ID is dannmidge on the ps3 if you want to add me and we can play.
Hey there, this can be from multiple problems actually, from having the player requesting you as an "avoided" player or simply having the game lobby full and unable to join. if there is an avoided player in the lobby you are trying to join this can often lead to you not being able to join the lobby. Other more advanced problems could be caused by router/modem problems and/or restrictions set in place on them, but that is definitely beyond me. you would have to contact your internet service provider. One other thing, see if you can invite them to a game with you in it and see if they can accept. Hope this helped, Jared
Welcome to the servers at call of duty :) I've got a ps3 and call of duty 4+5, half the fun of the game is playing with a mate and I've had exactly the same problem as you. It just seems to be about trial and error sometimes, have tried connecting like you for over an hour before and then on other days it just connects wth my mate straight away. Sometimes it helps to join a game(so you can see and hear other players) then invite your mate, if he/she to reply to your invite is quick sometimes you can get in that way. The only other bit of advice is to try different times of the day as the load on the servers does change throughout the day, apart from that it really is an issue with activision and for me the playstation network hope it gets better for you tim
Hi, this issue has a wide range of possible problems. in order to narrow the field down try the following, see if your other games can make an online connection. if you do not own any others, the full auto 2 demo available for download allows for online play. if this game can connect it may just be that the servers for NCAA are over-crowded and as a result, players cannot log on/ join games as well as they should be able to. On the other hand, if the other game cannot connect aswell, you may wish to re-check your settings on your console, your wi-fi or ethernet modem, or make sure that your provider is not experiencing technical difficulties at this time. I hope that within the examples given, one yields the solution to your problem. Please be sure to rate your experience with my service or if you would like to get further assistance, repost your question for free with the button NEXT TO the accept answer button. I had the same problem where I'm logged into XBox Live and I couldn't get into the EA servers to play any EA games. This is what worked for me:
1. Hit the XBox button and Log out of XBox live. 2. Go to the Settings tab and select System Settings. 3. Choose Console Settings then Clock. 4. Choose Daylight Savings and set this to OFF and back out. 5. Log back into XBox Live and the time will be set automatically. 6. Start you EA Game and Have Fun!!!
