Question about Maytag LAT3600A Top Load Washer
The motor within the timer assembly has likely failed. There is a small motor within the timer that advances the control knob onto the next setting. There is an unlikely possibility that one of the wires to the motor has become disconnected, but that's a very remote chance. As far as I know, the timer assembly has to be replaced as a unit, and the motor is not a separate replaceable item.
